OUR STORY

The foundations for CoreBlends were first set in 2010 when founder Sonia Munro started what would become a gruelling, years-long IVF journey. She was 37 years old at the time and with each failed cycle, in addition to the heavy mental and emotional toll, she started noticing drastic changes in her hair and skin. This included severely dry skin, weakened hair and significant ongoing hair loss. This physical toll greatly affected her general well-being. Unable to find anything that was completely natural on the market, Sonia decided to take matters into her own hands. Being a strong advocate of wellness and having a keen interest in natural products, especially oils for healing, she started to formulate her own oil blends to help her hair and skin. As she started to notice improvements, her friends and family also started noticing, and began to ask her to share some of her 'special oil blends' with them. She was happy to oblige and continued tweaking her blends. Fast forward to 2020 when the COVID pandemic shook the world. This became a pivotal moment in time for Sonia, who had, up until this point, been working in the corporate sector for most of her life. Upon reassessing her purpose, she realised that the business she had wanted to start had been right there under her nose the whole time. She had inadvertently undertaken years of practical research and development, creating oil blends that saw her throughout ten IVF treatments (the last was successful!), post-partum hair loss and her blends have continued to support her even now as she enters perimenopause. She knew her purpose was to help others going through similar struggles and empower them to feel hope and to feel beautiful. So in 2022, she took a big leap in faith and launched CoreBlends with the encouragement, help and support of her family and friends. Sonia’s vision in creating CoreBlends was not only bringing natural organic products on the market but also having a platform to share knowledge and information about her related experiences.

INGREDIENTS

We take care in selecting only high-quality ingredients for our blends; responsibly sourced from around the world. We use oils that are backed by science for their proven properties and our unique blends that are made to restore, revive and repair as nature intended. Many of these oils have been known for their healing and rejuvenating properties for centuries. Our oils are certified 100% pure organic with our carrier oils cold pressed and essential oil steam distilled. We are chemical free, GMO free, certified organic, vegan, cruelty free, using recycled packaging and composable mailers. We do not use mineral oils, petroleum, synthetic ingredients, parabens, phthalates, chemicals, fillers and do not test on animals.
